Lauren Scott is thrilled to be the Director of Peer Support Services at Mental Health Innovations, an organization that is transforming workplace cultures through the power of human connection. MHI is a boutique consultancy and social enterprise, leading innovative and sustainable change in organizations to enhance the mental health of their people. Lauren’s role focuses on developing best practices for safe and effective organizational peer support programs and training, whether that be in a provincial health care system, in a government department, private enterprise or community organization. Lauren’s dream is to ensure each employee is able to connect with someone with a shared experience, so no one feels alone. Before joining MHI, Lauren spent her career in the health care sector in senior leadership positions, working to change the workplace culture of those organizations. Lauren is also a licensed therapist within the province of NS and maintains a small private counselling practice.
