Sherry has been working in the group benefits space for 29 years. Through her career she has worked with public and private sector organizations comprised of union and non-union members. She started her career as an underwriter for a large Canadian Insurer, and moved to consulting in 2001.  

Over the past 20 years Sherry has been in senior leadership roles with the most recent being the leader of the Toronto Heath practice for a large global consulting firm. Through her career she has trained many analysts and consultants, created new products, developed and implemented best practices and effectively managed her practice’s profit and loss targets. Sherry is highly strategic and analytic. 

Sherry is a strong mentor and coach. She works side by side with her team members and her clients. Her passion is inspiring and this allows her to develop deep relationships with staff, clients and the insurers.  

Sherry holds an MBA from Queen’s Smith School of Business and Honours Degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo. She is Fellow of CEBS and maintains a Life Insurance and Accident & Sickness Insurance Agent license with the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario.
